2025 SUMMER LEAGUE TIPS OFF MAY 22 2025
The 2025 PBC Summer League is scheduled to begin the week of May 22, 2025 in several sites through out the area.
The tourney will be followed by the 2025 PBC Summer League Championships. The tournament is fully insured per PIAA rules and regulations for off season programming. Varsity league features an 8 game schedule with Junior Varsity League playing a 6 game schedule. A special 4 game “Rising Freshman” Tourney will also be held featuring Pool Play and a championship as well.
Varsity Leagues will be held at the following sites
- North Hills
- North Allegheny
- Cornell
- Sto-Rox Middle School
- Gateway
- West Mifflin
The PBC Junior Varsity Summer League will be held at North Allegheny High School. A special rising Freshman tourney will be held as well.
These leagues will culminate with championship games at the PBC Summer League Championships which will begin the week of June 23, 2025.
The League applications are listed below. Registration virtually pre sells out so please verify your spot in your site as soon as possible Please have these submitted May 10, 2025.

2025 LEGENDS CLASSIC AT LAROCHE SET TO KICK OFF HALL OF FAME FESTIVITIES
The PBC kicks off its Hall of Fame festivities January 11, 2025 with the annual Legends Classic as the PBC returns to LaRoche University! This year’s event features some great match ups to kick off the Hall of Fame season!
Tickets are $10 for adults and $3 for students. Please come out and support a great event! The schedule is as follows:

2024 GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL CLASSIC RETURNS TO AMBRIDGE DECEMBER 21
The Pittsburgh Basketball Club is pleased to announce the 2024 PBC Girls Hall of Fame Classic will return to its original home at Ambridge High School on December 21, 2024. From the best any one can tell- this will be the 1st time that 2 gyms of games are planned dedicated solely to Girls Basketball. A great day of games is planned!
Please plan to join us for some great girl’s basketball action! Some of the area’s top girls players and teams will be in action.

CENTRAL SECURES 2024 FALL LEAGUE TITLE
Congratulations to Coach Brian Urso and the Central Catholic Vikings for their 44-39 victory over Montour in the Fall League championship game. Central Catholic completed an undefeated 9-0 season in the annual PBC Fall Championships.
Central defeated Seneca Valley in the opening round followed by a hard fought win over Johnstown in the semifinals. Montour defeated Central Valley in the 1st round, then Nazareth Prep in the semifinals to reach the championship game.
Congratulations to Central Catholic on their championship game victory to complete an undefeated Fall season.
Thank you to all the teams that participated in this year’s Fall League.
2024 PBC FALL LEAGUES TIP OFF 9-16-24
The 2024 PBC Fall League will kickoff with games at Central Catholic High School, North Allegheny High School, Sto-Rox Middle School and Gateway High School September 16, 2024.

The PBC Fall Championships will begin October 29, 2024.

FOX CHAPEL DEFEATS CENTRAL IN OT FOR 4A-6A TITLE
Congratulations to Coach Zach Skrinjar and the Fox Chapel Foxes for their 50-47 overtime victory over Central Catholic in the 4A-6A championship game. Fox Chapel completed a 9-2 season in the 31st annual PBC Summer Championships.
The championship is the 2nd for Coach Skrinjar and his staff in the PBC Summer League. The championship is the first for Fox Chapel since 2019.
Fox Chapel defeated Penn Hills in the opening round then Montour in the quarterfinals, followed by a hard fought win over Peters Twp in the semifinals. Central Catholic defeated defending champion Moon in the 1st round, then North Hills in the quarterfinals as well as Johnstown in the semifinals to reach the championship game.
Congratulations to Fox Chapel on their championship game victory.
